About the program
SVACA’s spay and neuter clinic alters domestic cats and chihuahua and pit bull breed dogs between 4 months and 7 years of age for residents of the cities of Campbell , Monte Sereno, Mountain View, and Santa Clara. The Friends of SVACA Spay & Neuter Assistance Fund is designed for residents experiencing financial hardship and residing in those cities only. (Guardians of cats and dogs outside of these cities can check with the resources listed at the bottom of this page.) If your annual household income is $50,000 or less, or if you receive government assistance (unemployment, food stamps, and so on), our program will pay 50% of the cost of having your pet spayed or neutered. For current spay/neuter pricing and information on additional services available at SVACA, click here. Getting started
Step 1: Complete SVACA’s Spay/Neuter Request Form. You will be required to provide proof of residency and proof of eligibility when you submit your application. Step 2: If you qualify for services, you can then complete an Assistance Fund Application. Step 3: Once you have received the spay/neuter voucher, you have 90 days from the date on the voucher to have your pet(s) spayed or neutered at SVACA. Please note that each city limits the number of animals per household. Other spay/neuter resources
