Our mission
Our mission is to raise funds for SVACA, and to engage with the community to promote awareness of the programs and services SVACA provides.
Our vision
Our vision is that every animal that comes into the care of SVACA is lovingly cared for and then placed in a welcoming home with a forever family.
Our impact
Each year, Friends of SVACA raises money to support SVACA and it's life-saving programs, provides volunteers, socializes and transports animals, represents SVACA at community events, supports the SVACA staff, and much more.
We are proud to have supported SVACA as they achieved a 99% overall live release rate in 2024. Specifically, they saved 98% of dogs, 99% of cats, and 100% of small animals. Small animals are defined as rabbits, hamsters, birds, reptiles, etc. These figures align with "no kill" shelter standards, which aim to save at least 90% of healthy and treatable animals. |
