SPAY/NEUTER VOUCHER PROGRAM
Effective July 1, 2009 we will be sponsoring a spay/neuter voucher program. Click here for an application and the details on how to apply.
Thank you for being concerned about your pet’s health and the pet overpopulation problem in your city.
Did you know that spaying and neutering:
- Keeps your pet healthy and helps prevent many diseases.
- Helps keep your pet at home since he/she will not have the urge to seek a mate.
- Helps ensure that no more unwanted animals are born.
- Helps with many behavior problems, such as spraying and marking territory.
If you live in a city besides Santa Clara, Campbell or Monte Sereno and need spay/neuter services please visit SVACA's website Services page for additional resources.

SECOND CHANCE AT LIFE PROGRAM
Friends of Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority is seeking to provide 40 companion animals with a “Second Chance at Life” by raising $30,000 in funds for needed medical treatment, medical supplies and placement of companion animals into caring homes.
In reality, saving 40 companion animals’ lives saves at least 80 more human lives. Research implies that while owning and/or interacting with companion animals can be enjoyable, it also has the added bonus of potential physical (e.g. assist with cardiovascular health improvement, etc.) and mental (e.g. anxiety reduction) health benefits for humans (National Institutes of Health, 2009).
Please help us with this program by donating today via paypal or send a check to: "Friends of SVACA" and in the note section write -2nd chance. Mail check to: P.O. Box 132 Santa Clara, CA 95052
